    Opportunity for your thoughts to be raised with the Scottish Government. Advocating on behalf of the Computing Science teacher community is an integral part of STACS.

  • No, any teacher can sign up. If you are delivering Computing Science in your school, please feel free to sign up to access all the resources and support that STACS offers. We know there are some amazing Business teachers, Maths teachers, etc., who are delivering BGE Computing Science in their school. To support those who are non-specialists, we have provided teacher notes for all of our 200+ hours of resources, including prompts and answers.

  • Yes, we have many STACS members across the UK, Europe, and internationally who are all working to inspire the next generation in Computing Science. Our resources are tailored to the Scottish curriculum, but we recognize that there is some overlap in topics being taught that may be useful. Therefore, we are happy to provide access to all educators, regardless of your location. Please sign up.

  • If we are unable to confirm that you are a teacher, we will send you an email asking you to verify. Most people have sent us a link to their school's website with their name listed under staff.

  • Yes, please sign up! Although our resources are currently tailored for S1 - S3, we are aware that these materials might be helpful for your classes. We have quite a few primary STACS members, so please feel free to sign up. Additionally, we are working on a very exciting primary project; we will keep you posted and share more details later.

  • You should see a list of members pages starting with Members Home, then BGE and many more. If you don’t see this please contact us on support@stacs.scot and we can get this issue resolved for you.

  • Yes. If you have ideas that you believe could benefit others, we'd love to hear from you.

  • We have a dedicated feedback page, but please feel free to reach out to us via email at support@stacs.scot as well.

  • Yes it is free to sign up.
