Computing Science in Primary

To advance Computing Science, we recognise that the work undertaken from nursery to P7 is crucial. Inspiring pupils, especially girls at a young age, is essential to establish a sustainable and robust tech talent pipeline for Scotland and to make significant strides in closing the gender gap. Several primary teachers have joined STACS, and we aim to provide relevant support and resources for primary teachers to deliver Computing Science in their classes.

It is vital that we gather input from primary and early years teachers to understand their needs, preferences, and any challenges or barriers they face in delivering Computing Science. We are aware that many secondary Computing Science teachers are passionate about BGE and will have an interest in this area as well. We invite all educators to complete the short form below so that we can gather as many perspectives as possible.
